【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교(총장 고창섭) SW중심대학사업단이 지난 16일 충북대 학연산공동기술연구원 103호에서 이건명 단장을 비롯해 사업단 교수진들과 내, 외부 위원 등 15명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2023년 제2차 SW교육과정혁신위원회’를 개최했다.

이번 위원회에서는 ‘디지털 충북’을 위한 충북대 SW중심대학사업단의 역할, 생성형 AI의 SW 전공 교과과정 반영 요소, 비교과과정 주제, 시큐어코딩의 효과적 교육 방법, 기업이 요구하는 인력양성, 취업연계 현장실습 확대 방안, 산학프로젝트 과제의 미래지향적 모델 등에 대해 논의했다.

안부영 KISTI 센터장은 “디지털 플랫폼 정부 지역확산 촉진을 위한 ‘디지털 충북’으로의 전환은 매우 고무적인 현상이다. 디지털 플랫폼 구축의 가장 기본 단위는 데이터인데, 데이터가 잘 모이고 잘 사용될 수 있도록 데이터 생애주기 기반 커리큘럼을 개발하고 교육할 수 있는 방안을 마련했으면 한다”며 의견을 제시했다. 

심호성 한국공개소프트웨어협회 부회장은 “올해 공개SW개발자대회에서 충북대 팀이 우수한 성적으로 입상했다. SW중심대학사업단에서 오픈소스 관련 교과, 비교과 교육에 부단히 노력한 결과라고 사료된다. 또한 시큐어코딩 관련하여 협회가 전문업체의 비교과 참여 등을 적극 주선하도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

이건명 SW중심대학사업단장은 “충북대가 글로컬대학에 최종 선정됨으로 인해 ‘디지털 충북’을 위한 역할과 충북지역 모든 대학의 ICT 교육 및 SW 가치 확산과 관련하여 더욱 선도적 역량을 발휘해야 할 시점이다. 학생들이 기본에 충실하며 기업이 요구하는 SW 개발 역량을 키울 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 효율적 운영을 위하여 더욱 노력하겠다”고 앞으로의 계획을 전하며 “오늘 토의된 다양한 의견들을 잘 검토하여 교과과정 및 비교과 프로그램에 최대한 반영하도록 하겠다. 바쁜 일정 중에도 참석해 주신 위원들께 감사의 인사를 드린다”고 감사를 표했다.

한편, 충북대 SW중심대학사업단은 AI·SW핵심인재를 양성하기 위해 매 학기 외부 기관(업)과 함께 SW교육과정혁신위원회를 개최하고 있으며, 산업현장의 수요 파악과 교육성과에 대한 환류를 통해 SW중심대학사업 참여 학부(과)의 교과과정에 현장의 수요가 반영되도록 노력하고 있다.
