【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충주시농업기술센터는 20일 귀농인 현장 실습장에서 생산한 토란을 푸드뱅크와 읍면동 독거노인 등 소외된 이웃에게 전달했다.

이날 전달된 토란은 10㎏ 단위로 포장된 150박스 분량으로 농약을 전혀 사용하지 않은 친환경 농법으로 재배되었다. 

토란을 생산한 현장은 중앙탑면 가흥리에 27,000㎡ 규모로 조성되어 귀농인들의 영농 실습과 교육 장소로 이용되고 있다.

올해는 9명의 귀농인이 실습장에서 다양한 작목을 재배하고 농기계 사용 방법, 작목별 전문교육 등을 받았다.

센터 관계자는 ????귀농인 현장실습 포장은 귀농인들의 영농 초기 시행착오를 최소화하여 안정적인 조기 정착을 유도하기 위한 목적으로 운영되고 있다????고 말했다.
