【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군립 감곡도서관에서 지역사회 협력 서비스로 감곡도서관 이용자에게 구독형 전자책 서비스인 ‘밀리의 서재’ 이용권을 제공한다.

음성군 극동대학교 학술정보관과의 협력으로 ‘밀리의 서재’ 이용권 50개를 확보함으로써 감곡도서관 이용자에게 양질의 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 됐다. 

구독형 전자책 서비스인 ‘밀리의 서재’는 기존의 소장형 전자책 서비스보다 신간도서를 빠르게 접할 수 있고, 인기 도서의 경우에도 기다리지 않고 바로 읽을 수 있어 이용자들의 호응이 높다. 

또한 오디오북, 나의 독서 통계, 전자책 큐레이션 서비스도 제공하고 있다. 

박민순 평생학습과장은 “감곡도서관과 극동대 학술정보관의 협력을 바탕으로 전자책 제공 서비스를 제공하게 돼 뜻깊다”며 “군민들의 일상생활 속에서 늘 책과 함께하는 독서문화가 정착되길 바란다”고 말했다. 

감곡도서관 ‘밀리의 서재’ 서비스는 23일부터 감곡도서관 1층 자료실에서 선착순으로 이용 신청을 받으며, 신청자에 한해 2024년 2월까지 이용이 가능하다. ‘밀리의 서재’ 이용권과 관련해 궁금한 사항이 있으면 음성군립 감곡도서관으로 문의하면 된다.

As a community cooperation service, Gamgok Library in Eumseong-gun provides users of Gamgok Library with access to ‘Millie’s Library,’ a subscription e-book service.

Through cooperation with the Academic Information Center of Far East University in Eumseong-gun, we have secured 50 tickets to ‘Millie’s Library’, making it possible to provide quality services to Gamgok Library users.

‘Millie’s Library’, a subscription-type e-book service, is receiving a high response from users because it allows users to access new books faster than existing collectible e-book services, and even popular books can be read right away without waiting.

We also provide audiobooks, my reading statistics, and e-book curation services.

Park Min-soon, head of the Lifelong Learning Department, said, “It is meaningful to provide an e-book service based on the cooperation between Gamgok Library and Far East University Academic Information Center,” and added, “I hope that a reading culture that always includes books will be established in the daily lives of county residents.”
