이번 연말연시 음주운전 특별단속 기간 중 경찰은, 지역별 유흥가 등 음주운전 위험구간을 중심으로 수시 장소를 변경하며 단속 활동을 추진하는 한편, 도경찰청 주관으로 교통기동대, 교통경찰 등단속 경력을 최대 투입한 도내 일제단속과 경찰서 자체 단속을 한층 강화할 예정이다.

택시및 화물차 등 사업용 차량과 개인형 이동장치에 대해서도 예외없이 음주운전 단속을 실시할 계획이다.
