【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주시의회 의원연구단체인 양성평등연구회(대표:이화정 의원)가 16일 청주시의회 중회의실에서 ‘청주시 여성의 재난취약성 관리방안 연구’용역 최종보고회를 개최했다.

이날 최종보고회에는 이화정 의원을 비롯해 김영근 의원과 남연심 의원, 정영석 의원, 안전정책과장, 여성가족과장 등 관계 공무원 약 10여명이 참석하여 충북대학교 산학협력단(책임자 김학실 교수)으로부터 연구용역 최종보고를 듣고 질의응답 및 토론하는 시간을 가졌다.

연구용역 최종보고는 청주시의 재난 관련 제도 분석과 재난정책 관련 전문가 조사, 재난지원 정책 시민 인식조사에 대한 분석 결과를 토대로 청주시 여성의 재난취약성 관리를 위한 열 가지 정책을 제시했으며 대표적으로 재난안전 기본조례 제정, 재난대응역량 강화 교육 확대, 여성 맞춤형 재난안전 매뉴얼 개발, 청주시 재난안전지표 수립 등이 포함되었다.

양성평등연구회 이화정 대표의원은 “재난 상황에서 여성이 상대적으로 취약한 만큼 과학적 근거를 토대로 한 정책적 접근이 필요하다”고 강조하며 “집행부 각 부서는 이번 연구로 도출된 데이터를 통해 재난안전정책에서 젠더관점을 좀 더 면밀히 점검하고 정책수립 방향에 반영시킬 것을 기대한다”고 말했다.
